This Privacy Policy explains how SK India Services ("we", "us") handles personal data when you use Markdown Pro.

1. What we collect

• Account data: email, display name, and authentication identifiers.
• Content: the Markdown documents, folders, and snippets you create.
• Billing data: processed by Stripe or Razorpay. We store subscription status and a customer identifier only.
• Usage & diagnostics: minimal logs required to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use it

• To provide, secure, and improve the Service.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To communicate service updates and respond to support requests.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with processors needed to run the Service — hosting, database, authentication, and payment providers — under appropriate contracts.

4. Encrypted Vault

Documents you place in the Encrypted Vault are encrypted in your browser with a passphrase you control. We cannot read or recover Vault contents.

5. Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. You can delete documents at any time and request account deletion by emailing us.

6. Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data. Contact payments@ragchunk.com.

7. Advertising and cookies

We may display advertising on free-tier and publicly shared pages. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info. Ads are never shown inside the editor or preview panes, and users on a paid Pro or Team plan see no ads at all — upgrading removes advertising and its cookies.

8. Security

We use TLS in transit, encrypted storage at rest, and row-level security in the database. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong password.

9. Children

Markdown Pro is not directed to children under 13.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced in-app or via email.
